Home Care with a Heart!
Staying at home can be a challenge for the elderly, but it can be just as much of a challenge for the people who love them.
Let’s say your mom is at home alone. There is the constant worry.
- Is she eating right?
- Is she taking her medications on time?
- Is she feeling well?
- What do you do when she calls you in the middle of a meeting telling you she feels dizzy and unwell?
- What do when you call her and she doesn’t answer?
- What do you do with the guilt you feel for not being a superhero with unlimited time and energy?
If you find yourself overwhelmed caring for an elderly loved one, you should know two things. First, you’re not alone. 1 in 4 families is in the same situation as you.
Second, and maybe more important, you don’t have to do everything yourself. We’re here to help. Stay at Home exists to help people like you. We make sure your mom or dad is eating right, taking their medications on schedule, and getting safely to doctor’s appointments and social gatherings. We look in on them regularly and give them someone to gab with. We can make sure the house is neat and the dishes are done.
Please look into how we can help you. Love does not mean having to spend your time frazzled and worried.

My mother-in-law is 93 years old. After the death of my father-in-law, she very much wanted to stay in the comfort of her own home. Stay at Home of Knoxville has provided the care and companionship which has allowed her to do that. They are capable, dependable, and compassionate, and have shown flexibility in their scheduling whenever the need arises. I am grateful for the service they provide, and would recommend them highly.
My dear Angels – always to my rescue! Love you & God bless.
Thank you so much for all your help & kindness. I really appreciate all you do and have done for my mother and me. I will certainly be recommending your Stay At Home services to others.
When my mother suffered a stroke, my world changed forever. But the one thing my sister and I did not want to change was my mother’s ability to continue to live in her own home. We contacted Stay at Home of Knoxville and they made all the arrangements. They have supplied us with several different care-givers and were careful to match their personalities with my mother’s needs. She remains in her home and my sister and I have peace of mind that she is being well taken care of. Thank you Stay at Home!
We have used Stay at Home of Knoxville for live-in caregivers for our mother for the past 15 months and have been pleased with the level of attention and concern for her comfort and security. Since our insurance company required a licensed bonded agency for her care, Stay at Home was a good choice and has been a way for us to keep our mother’s life as normal as possible in her own home. This service is invaluable when you are faced with hard decisions about your parent’s life. We feel the staff does their best to maintain our mother’s confidence and dignity, and any issues we have had are addressed and managed well. In this difficult situation, Stay at Home has been very helpful to all of us.
